چکیده

Background: One of the most prevalent medical issues, diabetes mellitus, has emerged as a serious concern to pregnant women. It is linked number maternal and fetal including delivery traumas, perinatal death, shoulder dystocia, macrosomia, operating room interference. Early prediction fatal complications will improve outcome reduce mortality. Aim objectives; determine if women's use HbA1c umbilical cord thickness may accurately predict fetus's macrosomia. Subjects methods; At Al-Hussein University Hospital, six-month prospective observational research on 100 women with gestational who were 28 29 weeks along was conducted. Patients had thorough history review, an ultrasound assessment, ultrasonography examination. Result: UCA at 27-28 36-37 gestation are substantially different across three groups that examined. Conclusion: The severe obstetric problems, dystocia postpartum hemorrhage, caused by There times when it difficult foresee dystocia. group risk for these issues be found, however, using macrosomia prediction. have been documented studies sonographic measurement predicting Fetal well predicted fat layer.

Ultrasonographic Evaluation of Placenta Thickness and Fetal Cord Cross Section in Gestational Diabetes Mothers Compared to Control Group

Background The metabolic enhancement resulted from hyperglycemia in gestational diabetes leads to macrosomia, which can affect the placenta. In gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) pregnant women, the thickness of placenta and cord diameter can change at ages prior to treatment initiation. Therefore, this study was conducted to examine the thickness of placenta an...
